The room is tiny, so I wanted the hardware to be efficient yet attractive. I love the style of this toilet paper holder--the open side makes it really easy to replace the roll. One of the easier pieces to install. The wall mounts come with hollow anchor and also have a sharp end that will cut into the sheet rock for additional stability when mounting. Easy click system when mounting the Holder to the mounting hardware on the wall. Nice brushed nickel finish on the Moen Line. As has been said, more than 6-8 turns required to tighten mount up against wall. Otherwise easy to install.

This mop was bought as a replacement for one I purchased 20+ years ago. When the old one fell apart, I needed a new one. It is almost identical to my old one and workes just as well. It is great on tile and wood. Can be used wet or dry. I have two cats. One is a long hair, and her hair is very fine, making it difficult to pick up. This one works! I love the adjustable handle. No more problems with a handle that is too short or long.
Deffinately worth the extra $$$ to have something that lasts and works great! Gotta get one of these for my daughter.

This thing really does work, and it works EXTREMELY well.
Even my ever-skeptical husband was impressed six ways from Friday the very first time he used it (and every time since as well).
Tougher, more stubborn debris and dirt cleans right up without a jot of elbow grease on our parts.

Absolutely amazing device. I just wish (OH HOW I WISH) I had discovered it LONG ago! Life would have been so much easier!

The Bren 1 record clamp is very well made and really seems to improve the imaging and depth of my vinyl. I selected the Bren 1 due to price and size. It is priced below the others I considered but the main factors were the height and weight. I have a low clearance deck cover (well the turntable does, not me) and although I do not play records with the cover down, I did not want to risk putting the cover down in a hurry with the clamp on and damaging the record, the cover, the turntable, or the person who might do it while using my audio system without me around. So now, if the cover ever gets put down while the clamp is on a record, nothing gets damaged and no one gets hurt - better! Besides making my vinyl sound better, the clamp just looks great too. It was also lighter than the other clamps I reviewed and I realized they would bottom out my suspension system. With the Bren clamp in-place I did a quick re-level and was ready to go. It is a product worthy of your consideration if you need a high quality record clamp, which you must if you are reading these reviews. I do not think you will be disappointed.

I have found this skillet to be excellent for everyday use. It is a bit more heavy than I expected, provides excellent heat transfer, is easy to clean, and after initial seasoning and one or two uses, a pure pleasure to cook in. From eggs to searing steaks, I use it constantly and have zero complaints. As my budget allows, I will be adding another to my cookware set.

this is a very solid pan, but it warps when used on small electric burners(8"). the warpage causes it to rock and thus not heat the outsides as well as possible. i returned it and got the 12 1/2 pan which fits my jennair unit better(the pan's bottom is 9 3/8). the larger pan may work on a gas burner but be wary if you use electric. i do love the carbon steel, pretty much non-stick and easy to clean

After properly seasoning my carbon steel skillet, it cooked like no other. My other coated non sticks are now history. I love that the non stick properties are from the seasoning and not some teflon coating. After seasoning it, I made hash browns, sausage, and eggs in that order and everything cooked perfectly with no sticking whatsoever. I thought I would have trouble with the eggs since I cooked the pan sausage first but everything slid around the pan with ease and the taste was great too. I'm buying a bigger one now, the 10.25 inch is nice and will see regular use, but sometimes you may need a larger cooking surface if friends and family are visiting. I'm 100% satisfied and kind of kicking myself for not getting one sooner.

I am using this shower head all the time. No need to switch to any other in my mind. I even turn water pressure down because I feel the pressure is fine without turning up water volume. My sister says it doesn't have enough pressure for her, I find to differ.

We were leery about buying this item, but we are sure glad we did. This is the first water miser shower head that we have found that actually works We have low water pressure in our home, but this doesn't make a difference with this shower head. I even turn down the water volume and it still delivers a good spray. At this price you will repay the shower head very quickly with your energy use savings.

What I like about it.
1-Functions nicely to give you a good soaking shower that feels like a shower massage. Flow feels quite full and powerful with large drenching drops rather than a finer spray pattern found in many other heads. I like the fine spray type as well but the ones I've had seem too weak with their flow restrictors left in place. The Fluidics design of the Alsons seems to have taken a fresh and successful engineering approach to achieve an invigorating shower with lower water consumption. Not sure how well it works at lower water pressures but it works great with my city water connection in Las Vegas.
2-Water saving 1.5 gpm rating. Beware. Though the actual flow rate should not exceed the published rating, my measurement showed wide disparity between actual flow and published/labeled shower head flow ratings. Water pressure is a major factor. My research indicates the ratings are maximum flow rates at 80 psi water pressure. I measured the flow on my Alsons 655CBX at 1.3 gpm by capturing output in a bucket for 30 seconds and doubling the measure to get the flow per minute at my Las Vegas residence. My old shower head (a ten year old Delta Monitor labeled at 2.5 gpm with one of the typical plastic removable flow restrictors) actually measured only about 1 gpm. The Alsons 655CBX feels like it puts out twice (or more) as much water as my old shower head even though it's only about 30% more by actual measurement. I just find it surprising that the 2.5 gpm labeled shower head measured 1 gpm while the 1.5 gpm shower head measured 1.3 gpm. I suggest you measure before and after installation to know what you're getting if you're concerned about water consumption. I also suspect that different designs may not react in the same proportion to changes in water pressure.

What's not to like?
1-The appearance is functional but not striking, inspiring or attention getting. If you want something to elevate your mood in the morning or to impress a house guest, this won't do it until you/they get in the shower and turn it on. Not that you expect fine art at this price point. Alsons was acquired by the same parent company as Delta. It seems that Alsons will be incorporated into Delta labeled products in 2012 according to an announcement by Delta. The Delta H2Okinetic product line features what seems like the same or similar engineering design as the Alsons Fluidics. I expect Delta has some more elegant and more expensive water conserving designs available for consideration in the H2Okinetic product line.
2-The adjustment on the 655CBX shower head doesn't move it up and down quite as much my old one. Not bad but I keep the shower head aimed in the most downward position and it still sprays out further than I want. It shouldn't be a factor for 99% of installations and is only minor issue for me.

I liked this clock radio, but after about three months it began to make an intermittent, subtle (but irritating at night) crackling static-like noise as noted in reviews by M.D. Smith and SLH here. (Unlike some reviewers' clock radios, however, unplugging mine solved the problem.)

To investigate the "Rice Krispies" issue, I looked at a couple posts at RCA RP5430 AM/FM Clock Radio with 1.4-Inch Display and Auto Time Set & FixYa. On Amazon, reviewer B. Ley wrote "if you open the clock radio there is a black disk on the bottom with a red and black wire coming out of it. This black disk is a component called a piezo disk. They are commonly used to make noise for buzzers in electronic devices.... If you cut the wires going to this disk, the crackling noise goes away. ... Obviously cutting wires would probably void your warranty, but do you really want to try your luck with another RCA clock radio?"

So after opening the back, I located the piezo disk under the speaker (see Customer Image). I cut one of the thin wires going to the disk, and the crackling stopped. Since customers should not have to modify electronic goods internally, I am giving this item only two stars.

BTW, B. Ley did not know the purpose of the disk; I believe it serves as the battery-powered alarm during power outages.

I bought this alarm clock for my college dorm. It's been great. I like the programmable snooze and nap functions and the radio. The atomic function wasn't so good because it was always slower than the clocks at school. Nonetheless, I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for that I am now back in the market for another alarm clock a little more than 2 years after purchasing this one. The buttons on top are unresponsive to changing the time and the second alarm, rendering it useless after I tried to reset it by removing all power to it. I expect more than 2 years of use from my alarm clocks.

A decent clock radio for the money. Other people have had problems with getting the clock out of "nap" mode. The instructions say to depress and hold down the nap button. They should say to depress the nap button once, then hold it down a second time to clear "nap" mode.

Keeps good time. I use this C/R in an area where electrical outages are common. I've had no problems using the internal re-set feature.

The only draw back that I can see, is that if you use the radio portion as an alarm, the display shows the radio frequency vice the time when the alarm goes off. That's a little different from what I'm used to.

Pretty bird feeder, the birds seem to like it. I like the 'hopper' style, it makes the seed immediately available to the birds, and it'll be easy to clean. But note, this is a heavy bird feeder - don't plain on hanging it on a lightweight tree branch! Still, I'm happy with it, it looks very cheerful!

The first feeder I received was damaged, so I had to return it -- which was a very satisfactory process. It's too bad I didn't take a good look at the feeder before returning it, as when I received the replacement and put it out for the birds I realized the slots are too small for any seed but the smallest to filter through. I have to go out daily and "stir up" the seed and push it through the slots. The birds also seem to have difficulty perching on it. So, while it looks good, it's not very good.

I ordered these sheets thinking they were cotton and of high quality. NOT SO!!! I think they are made from old plastic bottles. Very thin, not soft and if they are Egyptian it must be from all the bottled water they recycle over there. Cotton does not beed water, these sheets do. I think my wife will make a dog bed cover with them because I do not enjoy sending things back. If sleeping on a nylon stocking sounds good ,then buy these sheets. Good Luck

In case you haven't read the January issue of Consumer Reports yet, let me summarize: Corning sold Pyrex to World Kitchen, who is using cheaper glass which makes it more likely to shatter from heat. The European Pyrex still uses the traditional Pyrex formula and is as heat-resistant as ever. Consumer Reports says: "We baked at least five samples of each brand in a 450-degree oven. All of the U.S. Pyrex and Anchor dishes shattered when placed on the wet countertop. None of the European dishes ... broke" here's the European product: Arcuisine Elegance Glass 2.8 Quart Rectangular Baker I just bought one. Now, should I give away my old "pyrex" dish or put it in the trash?

You know how, sometimes, you buy a set and there are pieces thrown in that you'll never use because they are so odd? Well, not true with this set. The three dishes are perfect for all sorts of uses, from brownies to cakes to chicken dishes and beyond. You really can't go wrong with Pyrex! I have cabinets full of the large and small baking dishes and bowls and really like them (glass seems to cook evenly and clean up easily without worry about scratching off a "non-stick" surface!) I bought this set for my sister for her birthday and she was really pleased, so, that pleased me! This is a nice set for a starter kitchen or as a gift for any cook or aspiring cook and the price on Amazon seemed fair!

I love this set. So far, I've baked a cake in the rectangular pan, brownies in the square one and I use the round bowl for many purposes. Right now it's storing leftover spaghetti. This set cleans easily and is very versatile. Good buy.
